So I must say for the most part I've been pretty happy with Windows 7.
One of the things that heads at Microsoft decide to do was to retire the documents and settings folder and move everything to a Users folder. But they didn't remove the documents and setting folder, it's still there. Just one more thing for me to try to remember as I setup machines for user at my job...
So I had a user who wanted their auto complete contact list moved from their old windows xp machine to their new Windows 7 machine.
So I sort of new what file had to be moved from XP but I couldn't remember figure out where to move it to in Windows 7. Some digging around online I found this site.

So the old location and new locations is this
For Windows XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\”
For Windows 7: “%appdata%\Microsoft\Outlook\”
But what I found out is that you need to create the Microsoft and Outlook folder in windows 7, Since Windows 7 actually stores those folder in a different directory under appdata.
Oh the joys of Microsoft.
